Andy's litigation experience includes Markman and summary judgment strategy and briefing, working with expert witnesses on infringement and invalidity positions, oral argument of non-dispositive motions, taking of depositions and development of key case theories and discovery strategies.  His practice spans both competitor-to-competitor and NPE litigation and includes representation of both single and multiple defendants within joint defense group settings.  Andy's counseling experience includes providing clients with freedom to operate and patent clearance opinions.

Andy also has extensive experience with European litigation and invalidity proceedings (Germany and the U.K.), working closely with foreign and in-house counsel on development and execution of global litigation strategies.  This work has included preparation for, and attendance at, a German patent infringement trial.
